Brittany Odom - Founder and Principal Consultant

Brittany Odom is a Homeless Technical Assistance Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in the social services field. She has provided direct services to clients of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, working in an administrative capacity to develop, monitor, and improve service quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. Her dedication to the cause of ending homelessness has led her to various homeless advocacy roles in DC, Virginia, and South Florida. Mrs. Odom has provided training and technical assistance to more than 400 homeless services provider personnel in the fields of racial equity, HUD compliance, encampment response, data analysis, coordinated entry, and the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), among many others. She also has project management experience that includes the coordination of the annual Point-In-Time Homeless Count and the annual Homeless Symposium for the Broward County Homeless Continuum of Care located in Florida.

In addition to her homeless services background, Mrs. Odom also spent three years abroad teaching social studies at an international school in Ghana, West Africa. Mrs. Odom holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Barry University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Michigan State University and a certification in web development. Mrs. Odom is co-founder and Assistant Director of Dennis Tennis Serving Love, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing underprivileged youth the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of tennis.
